For the fourth year in a row, in lieu of gifts for our clients, Stage and Screen will be sponsoring the wishes of four brave children through our partnership with Make-A-Wish® Canada. It’s thanks to our clients ongoing support that we are able to make these wishes come true for children across Canada.

This is an initiative that was started by the Flight Centre Travel Group over 15 years ago and we are extremely proud to be able to continue to do so year after year. We hope you enjoy reading about these four remarkable children whose dreams are coming true this holiday season.

Happy Holidays and we look forward to working with you in 2020!

Jacob from London, Ontario - Cancer

Jacob is an adventurous 17-year old who loves the outdoors. When he’s not in school enjoying his favourite subject, Phys-ed, you’ll find him playing soccer, fishing or just enjoying the outdoors. He likes eating Italian and Thai food and listening to Florida Gerogia Line. Jacob’s wish is to travel to Hawaii and swim with the sea turtles, an adventure he thinks will be cool and unique!

“I wish to touch a turtle”

Avery, Toronto, Ontario - Neuromuscular Condition

Avery is a five-year-old little girl who loves to swim, and whose favourite colour is purple.  She has a bit of a sweet tooth and loves chocolate, desserts and mango.  She enjoys reading and cooking, and she considers celebrating her birthday the best day.  Avery’s wish is to touch a turtle and be able to swim and be with them on the beach.  Avery will be going to Turks and Caicos for her wish.

“I wish to spend time with my family"

Alessia from Alberta, Edmonton - Nervous System Disorder

Alessia is a fourteen-year old young lady who has a nervous system disorder. She enjoys colouring and painting, her dog Snuggles, and loves animated movies.  Alessia’s wish is to go on a tropical vacation.  She loves to play in the waves at the beach, she wants to experience waterslides, she wants to go on a boogie board, and she wants to go snorkeling.  She really wants to spend time with her family and have a nice warm and relaxed vacation.  Alessia will be going on an all-inclusive resort vacation.

"I wish to go to Hawaii"

Olivia from Vancouver, British Columbia - Brain Tumour

Olivia is a smart, funny and kind 7-year-old girl who loves to do crafts, play with her toys, sing and dance. She was diagnosed with a brain tumour the day after her baby brother's first birthday in February and spent almost 5 months following her tumour resection relearning to walk, speak, swallow and coordinate all of her muscle movements. She continues with her therapy every day and is determined in the hopes that she will continue her one true wish to do ballet again. Olivia is a bright light as she bravely fights every day with a smile on her face. Olivia chose to go to Hawaii and plans to swim with dolphins when she is there. Thank you for making her dreams come true.
